Team development with Rubicom Consulting

We have been organizing team development measures for numerous renowned companies for over 10 years.

Some measures involve a clarification process that can easily be covered in one day. Other cases call for an event where the issues to be explored can be combined with joint team exercises and a relaxed chat around a welcoming fireplace.

Where team development requires a highly intense experience with team-building activities, we can organize a range of activities including rock climbing, aerial rope challenges and caving in conjunction with our cooperation partners.

A unique aerial rope challenge set high among the treetops in an ancient beech forest, a series of hidden caves, deep ravines and overhanging cliffs provide an impressive backdrop for any type of team development exercise. The location in in the heart of the Swabian mountains, around a 30-minute drive from Stuttgart Airport.

Naturally, we will where requested also integrate outdoor activities at any other location in your team development measures.

Team building

Although many things are soft and malleable to start with, they later become rigid and set in stone. Team building quickly produces positive results that help new teams of personnel get on the right track from the very start.

With team building, individual team members can use specially designed exercises to work out how different team members behave in different team situations. They can use this experience to communicate expectations in terms of behavior; at this point, this isn't taken as criticism and doesn't result in a loss of face for the individual concerned.

This helps clarify future co-existence within a team and agreements can be reached on teamwork and cooperation. Conflict situations are eliminated at an early stage and an individual's tolerance levels are not inadvertently tested or exceeded in a day-to-day work situation.

Team development

There are occasions when unfavorable team structures are established informally or underlying conflicts between individual team members disrupt efficient teamwork. Or a team has simply become set in its ways over the years and now needs a breath of fresh air.

Out in the open, far away from the fixed confines of business processes, surrounded by totally different experiences and confronted with unknown tasks, team members can break free from their set ways and are encouraged to develop new lines of cooperation.

Contacts are established between people who previously had no contact, rope bridges have to be built to replace subliminal against each other: new doors are suddenly opened up to new teamwork experiences.

Team spirit

Teams will always have to face boring or negative issues from time to time. But goal-setting processes, model developments or vision workshops (to name just a few examples) won't always prove an inspiration in their own right.

To achieve lasting results when addressing this kind of issue with teams it's advisable to combine measures with interesting activities, tasks and challenges. An exciting underlying framework will liven up even a boring topic and a negative issue will not appear quite so aversive.

Once enthusiasm has caught on and an issue has been addressed in a motivating way, further handling of the issue is often far easier than with similar issues in the past.
