Leadership based on
target agreements
About the training
The
training is primarily aimed at experienced managers at
all levels. It focuses on training discussion skills. To
maximize the learning effects, the seminar involves very
intensive work in small groups of six participants. The
key features for a successful target agreement
discussion are conveyed in an easy to understand manner
and condensed into key core criteria.
Objective
The
participants
-
have
identified their own strengths and opportunities for
improvement in terms of their skills for "leadership
based on target agreements"
-
have
identified and understood the key criteria for
successful application of this leadership method
-
have
extended their own leadership repertoire so that its
overall structure also allows critical discussion
-
have
transferred and applied what they have learnt to
their own real-life situation.
Method
This
seminar closely follows the classical method of dividing
learning processes into three components. Our
longstanding experience with this type of seminar has
enabled the process to be refined still further:
In the
"assessment" phase each participant is given the
opportunity to use a practical scenario to examine his
own skills in terms of structuring target agreement
processes. The evaluation is based on the key criteria
introduced during the power presentation. Here,
benchmarking gives every participant the opportunity to
compare himself with the other participants.
In the
second "training" phase, the participants are taught the
precise skills required to fulfill the key criteria.
In the
"integration" phase, each participant is offered
specific, tailored support to help him apply his newly
acquired leadership skills in day-to-day management.
